At one time or another, we’ve all ended up with dirty duds caused by a greasy bicycle chain. The Outback Chainless Mountain Bike from Dynamic Bicycles ($750) solves that problem by using an internal gear system in the rear axle instead of a chain system. Plus, it sports all kinds of rugged features such as 13” of ground clearance and multiple climbing gears — a bit much for a simple ride to work, but then again so is a Hummer.
