Television shows come and go, and even the great ones, the ones that leave a lasting impression, rarely redefine a genre. Deadwood - The Complete Second Season ($63) continues where the first season left off — destroying our idea of the PG-13 "Old West" with stellar acting, masterfully crafted stories, and a barrage of violence, sex, and extreme profanity that instead of shocking helps draw the viewer in to this rougher, possibly more accurate view of the past. If you don't have HBO or simply missed it the first time around, it's nothing short of a must watch — especially if you plan on watching the third season, which starts June 11.
