Named after famed travelers Martin and Osa Johnson, Martin + Osa is a new store from American Eagle, featuring higher-end goods and a more adult style. There's plenty to check out, from the standard polos to Ray Ban sunglasses, but with only 20 brick-and-mortar stores opened, your best bet might be to browse online. Our favorites from the new store's summer collection? The plaid Yard-Dyed Cargo Short ($58), the refreshingly plain Full-Zip Track Hoodie ($68), and the Waxed Canvas Messenger Bag ($70).

315 Bowery is a well-known address to a lot of New Yorkers, as it was the location of iconic rock club CBGB for over 30 years. Now fashion designer John Varvatos is using the space as his newest boutique. John Varvatos Bowery is meant to merge the spot's rock n' roll heritage and the world of fashion, with offerings including vintage clothing, memorabilia, vinyl records, and 1970's audio equipment, sold alongside Varvatos' latest fashions, including a limited-edition 315 Bowery line, which will be available exclusively at the store in the fall. Not in the mood to shop? Then simply take in the graffiti- and flyer-covered walls, which remain virtually unchanged from the club's glory days. [via]

When we heard that long-time Uncrate sponsor AudioCubes had opened its first retail store, we were super stoked to say the least. The company has been selling all sorts of awesome electronics online for years, and now does so in a modern storefront in New York City. The AC Gears store carries a bundle of gadgets and imported toys — about half of what they sell online — and is staffed by the most knowledgeable of geeks. The store also features some very advanced robots that you won't find anywhere else. AudioCubes told us that AC Gears had been planned for over a year, while construction took a little over two months. They said they plan to open about three locations in NY and then other stores across the country. AC Gears is located at 69 E. 8th Street, and is open 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday. Stop by and feed your gadgetry addiction.

Tomorrow at the site of the long-closed Liquor Store bar in New York City, J.Crew will hold the grand opening of its first mens-only store. The Tribeca Men's Shop, located at 235 West Broadway, has a classic feel, to say the least. The shop retains much of the old Liquor Store, including the original bar and fixtures, plenty of darks woods, and vintage art. There's also new fitting rooms, which will serve as an art gallery with changing exhibits. The Tribeca store will sell essentials from J.Crew's mens line, along with favorites from other companies and designers. Among the strewn-about gear, you'll find Thomas Mason shirting, Selima glasses, Globe Trotter luggage, Red Wing boots, Aesop body products, Borsalino hats, Alden shoes, Hollywood Trading Company belts, as well as various vintage items.
