Lotus Eco Elise

While not as green as, say, the Tesla Roadster, the Lotus Eco Elise ($TBA) does its part by replacing a number of the car's materials with sustainable, eco-friendly alternatives. These include hemp, eco wool, and sisal in the car's body and trim, as well as a new high-tech, water-based paint that provides a great finish. In addition, the material changes reduce the car's weight by 70 pounds, while solar panels in the hard top help power the electrical systems.
