All my jeans are X2 jeans from Express, they are the most comfortable for me. But this is more a request for all the Uncraties: I cannot find a pair of jeans (anywhere!) that fits me right - anyone seen some decent jeans with a 29 waist x 34? Thanks!

nice fit, very comfy plus doesn't disintegrate the money in my student funded wallet.

My favorite are Indigo Palms jeans, Edwards Island Style, definitely most comfortable and great fit for the price.

J.Lindeberg jonte. Best jeans I've ever had. They're about $200, but the denim is extremely high quality and they fit me incredibly well. I have a few pairs of DKNYs and some Nudies that are nice, but the Lindebergs are by far the best. No stupid designs on them, just nice subtle jeans.

Armani Jeans, jeans which are made from hemp :)

Got question too, I got large upper leg and tighties look terrible on me. So has anyone got any idea which model would fit if I want to have that relaxed and loafy fit, but not something hiphop style.

Mossimo Logan's from Target. Actually, I have multiple pairs but there is one in particular I like best because of the degree of fading and softness. I used to spend more money but stopped the first time I tried these.

user-pic

@Andre: GAP Straight Fit jeans. Soft and roomy for my quads. Not baggy, and they fall really nice.

A pair of lucky's. They are expensive, but last forever and are incredibly comfortable.

Levi's 569. I found the jeans I like and don't even need to try them on anymore. Makes it easy on all of us.

diesel zathans fit me best. whenever i get the money, i'll have some zafs as well. so far i have 3 pairs of zathans in various washes. my favorite is the rusty wash i got for my birthday from my girlfriend. she looooooves them by the way.

I'm with John Doe.

The Mossimo Jeans from Target are the hidden jean gem of the planent. $25 bucks and a perfect fit feel. It doesn't make sense to spend $200 when you can get these for 1/8 the price. Besides, theres something drastically wrong when a guy spends $200 on a pair of jeans.

Of course, the fit wouldn't work for people that like tight jeans.

True Religion Joey's that I just got are my new faves. Perfect after 2-3 wearings. Some older Seven's are second in comman but they are starting to wear at the knee, had them for 3-4 years though.

Going to laugh but I have picked up some jeans at Steve & Berry's that after they are washed and worn they are very comfortable.. and actually have been in Express with them on and they have guessed that I purchased them there, fools dont know their own product. $7

http://www.steveandbarrys.com/website/jeans.htm

Rock & Republic, without a doubt. Yes they are > $500 here in Scandinavia but goddamn they are good. Have three pairs now!

Forgot to mention the Steve and Berry's are quite durable as well, and have lasted me 2 years now.. a wear in the back pocket from my wallet money clip.. but for $7 who can complain?

I wear the Earnest Sewn low rider bootcut. The styling is Hutch and the colour is Maz Dark.

An excellent fit.

I'm diggin a few pairs of Kasil jeans I just got. Expensive, sure. But they look damn good.

Diesel Zathans, but before those the feel of any paper, denim and cloth jeans.

My favorite jeans are my Ezra Fitch Premium Destroyed jeans, $200.00 at Abercrombie & Fitch.

easy: Levi's 569's - loose fit jeans that are inexpensive and can take a beating...

For the last few years, mostly everything has been Ekco jeans. I recently found a pair of DKNY jeans I like... but my current favorite pair is Levi 569 that I got in San Francisco at the Levi store, then had customized. Levi has never fit me, but these things are great. You can see the custom stitching they did for me (same day turnaround) h e r e

Best I've been able to find are my Paper, Denim and Cloth jeans, I have the japanese denim type. They're a good fit, very comfy material, and were pre-worn just enough that the never looked brand new.

Express X2s low rise, bootcut, dark wash are my current favorite. But my Banana Republics jeans have lasted for about 5 years, the longest of any pair of jeans I've owned and they still look good.

It is a toss up between, Affliction or Rock and Republic, any style. They are cut well and wear incredilbly over time. They are not cheap but anyone who tells you $25.00 Target jeans fit like the higher end denim is smoking crack.

Southern Thread Stillwater darks:

http://store.sothread.com/productdetails.aspx?id=100054698

They run long, though. I usually get about a 32" length and I have to buy their short length.

Great fit, nicely distressed without looking fake. All of their clothes are awesome.

I love Levi's premium jeans. The Austin cut is the best, low ride, boot cut. And they look like normal Levi's but the denim is a lot softer and appears more broken in, even when they were brand new.

The Mavi MATT is my favorite pair. They fit great, use great quality denim and are not crazy expensive like the Diesel jeans, which would probably be tops for me if it weren't for the $250 price tag. I fancy myself a fashionable dude, but I am still a dude.

http://www.mavi.com/shop/us/zoom.aspx?id=00337&c=1931

I've got a pair of Sevens from last winter that kick so much ass. They're getting to the point that they've gone from my "nice jeans" to my "everyday jeans," obtained a couple cooking and working-on-the-car stains, but they're still good looking enough that I consistently wear them out. And the argyle pattern on the ass-pockets draws enough attention while really stepping up the class. Hands down, the best pair of jeans ever.

Levis Capital E Skinny Stacked. Dark rinse.

Ruehl No. 925 Vericks button fly
Abercrombie & Fitch Kilburn low rise

I love my True Religion Joey's and my Rock and Republic's. But Sevens are always consistent (have a few of those), but I think my favorites right now would be my Hudson's (brand new) or Paper Denim Cloth's which I have had for a while. Also, if you can find some, get a pair of Miu Miu jeans they are awesome.

90% of the posts so far are coming from boys with wealthy parents who are either in college or highschool and still earnestly give a shit about what kind of jeans they wear. Uncrate is good as suggesting cells and interesting gear, but not so great at garnering intelligent discussion amongst its fans. What's next? "Tell Uncrate what product you use to keep your faux-hawk up during windy days on the beach."

Prolly Chip and Pepper Bobby Baby jeans. Extremely comfortable and the perfect fit for me. Great jeans!!!

yeah, screw those expensive jeans.
For kickin'- Levi's 559 relaxed, straight, dark.
For work- Levi's 505 regular, straight, dark.

Diesel (for durability) and 7 for All Mankind (for fit) are on the top of my list. While they may be a bit pricy, a well constructed pair of jeans made from high quality material will last many many years.

Paper Denim jeans are my favorite

Jake Agave Watermans. Most comfortable jeans I have ever owned. Also the Puma Evisu jeans are great.

STEVE AND BERRY'S!!! Im telling ya!! Only $7 BRILLIANT!!!

I am currently hear a pair of H&M slim sliq jeans, in the raw denim. At the time i was very close to purchasing the same raw denim in an Ernest Sewn jean, but after seeing these at H&M it looks like they almost copied the Ernest Sewn design, very similar look right down to the stitching on pockets and the labels inside the jean. Yes not near the quality of the ES pair but I bought 3 pairs for about 1/2 the price.

user-pic

I just recently recieved a pair of jeans as a gift called Z Brand... They are the most comfortable pair of jeans of all time, plus free, which is even more sweet...

I agree with the earlier posters who like Express for Men X2 Jeans. I have 4-5 pairs and was able to use discounts, gift cards, or promo coupons to get most of them for around $30-40 each. That's a very reasonable price for jeans that last several years and fit great! (36x34)

Rogan Jeans only

Morrison jeans by Gap.

My G-Stars are awesome. But my AG's are my most comfortable. You just gotta hunt for the right size depending on the brand. And getting them hemmed guarantees the best fit, no matter what the brand.

Right now I'm split between my True Religion joeys and my Diesels (I have zathans and skinny pair that i can't remember the line). The zathans are sweet. I gotta throw in for luckys too. While not the most stylish perhaps, they are super comfortable and fit nicely. I'm due for a new pair though.

Express X2 M42 Jeans - My favorite pair of jeans and most comfortable, 36x34

I have a pair of Tommy Hilfiger carpenter jeans that I picked up at the outlet for a cool $30, that I've worn pretty much every day of the year when it was cold out (so probably 6 months of the year) for the last 2 years. They are starting to get worn on one knee, but nothing to keep me from wearing them (like the big whole I got in the crotch of a different pair). I realize these pants are far too cheap for a site like this, but it works for a starving student like myself.

AG. Used to be Paper Denim & cloth, but the AGs I now have, in 3 colors, are the best.

levis capital e, or just buy a 50 dollar pair of levi 514 and take them in an inch and half for the same fit as the capital E's for 125 bucks cheaper and with slightly stretchy denim, really comfortable

user-pic

I am stuck on AG and Mavi.

Like a couple other posters, I'm going to say the Xpress M42 Straight Leg and Boot Cut jeans. I have a few pairs, they're comfortable, durable and moderately priced.

user-pic

For a straight guy, I am a confessed denim whore. Right now i have 3 pairs of Rock and Republic in heavy rotation. Diesel jeans never disappoint especially, as previously mentioned the zathans, and zaf. Seven, Earnest Sewn, Citizens of Humanity, Blue Cult, d&g and Paper Denim and Cloth are all staples in my wardrobe. I have tried Chip and Pepper, True Religion but didnt care for them. If it's hot i got to have it or have tried it. so what's new out there?

American Eagle Low Rise Bootcut.

Faded Glory "loose-straight" buy them one size to small.$14.99 Walmart that's right, only for those with self esteem. They fit and feel like butter better than all my Diesels, Evisu and Mavi's. Don't get caught up in the names just because you can afford them!

Paper Denim & Cloth and Earnest Sewn Jeans are my favorite. Nothing extravagant, no big logos, but always the best quality denim and good cuts.

Bullhead Straight Authentic Indigo. Great look, amazing fit, comfortable after one wash. And the price isn't bad either: $40.

G-Star Radar low loose cut. i have three pair already. the first pair i bought is made of this total featherweight denim that's so nice to wear in the summer, but so easy to wear holes in. the material is tread bare in a few too many places. i since got 2 more pairs in much heavier cloth and they still are my most favorite cut of jeans ever. they're comfy and not tight but not too baggy.

Gap straight fit jeans. So far they are the only jeans that I've gotten a new pair right after the first became too wore(open crotch).

Evisu rocks my socks.

I'm always trying on Seven's, Lucky, Diesel, etc. and of all those, the jeans I wear the most are the Mossimo Boot Cut you can find at Target. They're only $35 and they have a great cut.

Levis Action Jeans, not the slacks, the jeans

H&M "& Originals", good straight cut with a pretty slim fit

Express jeans are the best, especially during their frequent 1/2 Off sales. $30 for outstanding designer jeans? Just cannot be beaten.

They're also the only store that I've found that consistently has jeans for us tall, skinny types.

oddly enough, Lacoste jeans. they're the only ones that fit me properly thru the waist and legs.

Eddie Bauer loose fit basic. They fit great and I can buy them all day for $15 on sale.

Banana Republic's Utility Fit.

Diesel Quratt 89Z. Great cut. Much like the Kuratt.

LOVE my Sevens!!! Also just got some Paper Denim jeans and they look pretty hot. I can live in a well constructed pair of jeans. I wear them everyday, so why not spend the bucks for something that's comfy.

Paper Denim & Cloth GTO and SLM

hugo boss

run 125-145, can find them on sale now and then for 70-80 - by far the best.

Earnest Sewn Fulton, Italian Selvedge. They are straight leg with selvedge on the waistband too. Very dark, great fit, and the legs aren't all that slim.

Lee 101B and 101Z. Perfect cut, excellent denim, timelessly classic. Almost anything Levis is perfect as well, Sugar canes 47 XX reproductions are the Messiah of denim sent to Earth to save the world from crappy denim.

A note to Andres Lee 101B-Z are a great straight leg cut for full figured men. (guys with 32+ waists :)) Plus they come in nice green line selvedge denim so pretty decent.

AG is the master of washes and a bit of a denim legend for those who know any denim history.

Another side not you guys need to cool out on the Rock and Republics; seriously jeans designed by Posh Spice are not for men.

diesel zaf 796,772,710,60d

I thought that this site was for MEN. I'm amazed at how many of you guys are like girls with your jeans, spending crazy amounts of money like a designer label is going to do something for you. I don't get it, we're not like girls who need the jeans to hug every curve we have, they just have to sit there, cover us, be relatively the right size, and not be acid-washed. I'm glad to see that there are a few sensible dudes still out there though. If I spent more than $50 for jeans, I'd feel like a sissy primadonna schmuck. Just because they're $250 doesn't mean they're made of some "better" denim or even better constructed. Guys, do yourselves a favor and get a pair of Levi's or anything available at a Target, and remember that you have a sack. There are much better things guys should spend their money on.

G-Star Radar Narrow Rope - Chelsea Baker Wash

Perfect rise, dropped front pockets. Can't be beat.

Express! They make some sweet jeans. I liked the pair i bought so much that i went back and bought the exact same pair again.

user-pic

I have 2 favorite jeans. First is the Armani Jeans brand Hemp jeans. Just having that Hemp inside makes them so soft but very durable every day jean. But by far the most stylish, comfortable, quality and feel would be my Roberto Cavalli jeans I purchased a few years ago. I don't leave on a trip without them.

Loomstate... Organic Cotton, super soft, great medium weight jean.

Diesel... Durable, great with boots. Zathan, Zaf, Kurrat

Diesel, great styling and a feel when you wear them. Rocking jeans...

Call me old-fashioned, but my favorites are a pair of Lucky Brand 81 style jeans that I still wear. They've been discontinued unfortunately, and I can't seem to find comparable jeans anywhere, but I still love them. It'll be a sad day when they fall apart.

Gotta go with Hugo Boss, HB1s. Good washes and somehow they just fit my body just right... hard for me to find good fits because I'm fairly short and very muscular. Makes it hard to find jeans that aren't too baggy or too long.

AGs get a second vote, I love their denim... and I've had some really good luck with Guess Premium jeans when I want something that has a been more obvious style.

Guess falcon low rise boot, originally 150 marked down to 100 than got them half that at a sale guess was having before the store was refurb'd. real comfy, even look good on tree trunk legs with a 31 waist.

Mavi's. They're only $80 and their cuts fit me well, great for everyday wear.

Levi's 505 regular fit, great jeans, elegantly simple.

Abercrombie Baxter low rise, slim boot cut - nothing beats them for $70. I have four pairs that I wear pretty much every single day and they handle the abuse with ease.

Sevens hands down.

Mavi Hunter :)

Antik Denim (By far the best looking) They cost a lot though.

Citizens of Humanity - Jagger Cut. Dark with no distress - the perfect night out jeans.

Express men's precision fit Quince style jeans. Very comfortable.

Levis 527 jeans with a boot-cut. Comfy and make my white-guy butt look pretty good.

I'm a big fan of BKE Alec jeans. They're available at Buckle stores, and are a flattering cut of jean. I am 6'1" tall and weigh 172, and they fit appropriately loose while still showing that my lower body is toned.

user-pic

APC New Standards. I thought for sure Uncrate could do better than Diesel..

I like to wear my william rasts. I wanted to comment on guys that were hating on the expensive denim. My parents aren't rich, I pay for my jeans myself, and I am in college. It's not that I like expensive jeans only, but I do like GOOD jeans and I find that lots of good pairs of jeans are made by expensive brands, but there are a lot of terrible jeans that are expensive too. I think we can all agree that we like nice looking jeans that fit well, and those can come at high or low prices. As for there being better things to spend money on, well, that's pretty subjective, so I can't really say what the best thing to spend money on is for others, only myself.

Cheers.

Abercrombie's Baxter: http://www.abercrombie.com/anf/onlinestore/collection/14468_02_b.jpg

They're my only pair and I'm always hesitant to buy new pairs of jeans because I know none will match. At least nothing I can afford.

By the way, as somebody who works at Lucky Brand I can assure expensive jeans are made more well and with better materials than cheap-o stuff.

Actually they just tell us to inform people of that if they ask in the store, but if you seriously put Luckys next to something from Kohl's there's a clear difference. If you at least care about your appearance and the way your clothes fit you'll know that. Naturally.

For me that would be the Express Precision Fit, Low Rise Boot style. I got me two.

i guess im more of a classic kinda guy, i do some levis 501's and i have a bunch of loose boot cut jeans from the gap, no fancy frills, just cheep, good, long lasting jeans.

i have a pair of gap 1969 jeans from before they cost >$100 dollars that have lasted me for the past 5 years and they fit like a glove and are soft as anything i have ever felt, i get more compliments when i wear those jeans than anything i own.

Diesel Lemmen Stretch. My other comfy jeans are like sex with a condom, these are like riding bareback! ...and I get complements on how I look in them. Expensive, but there's some Italian magic at work here.

A.P.C. New Standards are definitely the best jeans I've ever owned.

Nudies (nudie jeans) allways do it for me, or some G-stars, or a pair of simple lee jeans

I only wear girl jeans. they fit better than any jean ever. Lip Service and 7 jeans are the best for sure.

seriously. I have this pair I got from JC Penny. Plugg I think is the brand. they were $20. The feel great and fit better than my expensive pairs. I'm not kidding. JC Penny's where it's at.

575s - OC fit

I like Rock and Republic but James Jeans are my all time favorite. I always get complements on these 2 and in fact got one today on my new pair of Rocks.

Im obsesed with Jbrand. They introduced a mens product that follow on the heels of the uber popular womens. The style of Jbrand is skinny with clean washes and terrific fit. I wear mine all the time and get complimets on the street of NYC.

Call me cheap, but the pair that I wore the most is Club Monaco's Red Label. Followed closely by American Eagle low-rise boot. Banana Republic's Utility fit are very nice too. These have the off-black or off-blue base colours, with a subtle wash but laid back enough. I hate some jeans out there that seems to try too hard to make it look like you live 24/7 in your jeans doing construction work.

Levi's 501 Antiform in medium indigo color:) i just love them...

Surprisingly, I never thought I'd say this, but a pair of broken twill denim Wranglers. The dark blue stone wash... the fake creases are passe, but the feel and fit is awesome. Only pair I worn consistently that have held up too. For over a year. My G-Star's and Diesel's wear out quicker...

My fav. all-time jeans are my Dolce & Gabbana's.

The trick to not paying upwards of $300 is to find a reliable source on eBay.

I had about 4 experiences where the seller sold fake stuff until I found a good one. They good ones usually provide products that have minor imperfections that didn't make the cut to retail. You have to do a little research for each brand to find out what each does for fraud protection.

Make sure you get the holographic tags, especially the one that is sewn into the jean.

$55 + $10 for shipping isn't bad.

Both of you please go spew your negativity somewhere else. You're just one of those people who always nag and never have nothing positive to say.

My guess cliff spider jeans are awsome. I've done countless things with them and they still look like new and the best thing is that they remind me of all the adventures with a mark here and a rip there. Ruehl#925 jeans are cool too.

Jeans with back pocket flaps and embroidery are for girls. Stick with Levis, any blend that doesn't fail in the first two categories.

Diesel Yarik 807 Wash. They are the perfect low rise fit for smaller dudes. I got them on sale a year after they were discontinued for $70.

I saw someone mentioned the Ezras from Abercrombie. Generally I stay away from the store, but the pants work well for me. I tend to wear my pants lower on my hips (no crack though) and only wear a 30 inseam (6') so finding jeans that fit length are important. I also have no butt which tends to leave a baggy rear on many pants. I'm pretty disappointed that Abercrombie is ending the Ezra line.

I was wearing Express exclusively through high school and into my first year of college, but they fit a bit loose in the butt. Levi's makes some great pants, and numerous fits so if you find the one for you they are great (514s myself). Own a couple pairs of TRs, but I don't see how they can be favorites, esp. the Joeys which don't make for very good daily wear pants.

Nothing like the Levis skinner premium... I now... I am in the fashion business...

Hey "Gene", you didn't add anything at ALL, so who the hell are you to say anything?

I'm currently running around in a pair of Levi's 527 in dark blue. Sadly, they went off production. One of my favorite summer/flip flop jeans are Tommy Hilfiger Freedom jeans... which, also sadly, are not produced anymore. I also got a pair of Divided Jeans by H&M in DARK DARK DARK indigo. Which are also not produced anymore (I think I may hae gotten the last pair ever).

All the ones I like are not in production. Strange, huh? Next on my list are A&F Baxter and Levi's Skinner! Too bad I live in Europe where these are not sold.

levis 527...cheap plus they have several options on style. love the 501s but they dont fit quite as perfect as the 527.

Nudie "Slim Jim". Buy them in dry denim wear them all the time, love them, sleep in them and hold off on washing them for as long as you can (a year is not innapropriate). Denim is like a canvas the more dirt and wear on the denim the nicer it looks. When you finally do wash them they will look awesome.

This is a tough project and most people aren't up to the challenge (major downside is wearing jeans that smell "not so fresh")

This will work for any pair of jeans you can buy in dry unwashed denim. I just happend to like the "slim Jim" cut.

My favorites: GAP 1969 Indigo, antique-faded bootcut and, interestingly enough, Mossimo Hudson Premium Bootcut I picked up at Target when I was on travel in SF.

Citizens of Humanity

Loose, Low Rise, Boot Cut

Gap Straight fit pre-fall 2006.

Unfortunately, they've changed their cut.

I liked them because they weren't baggy in the @ss and the new cut has quite the bagginess :/

Levis 501's, the originals and the best

Old Express jeans (back before the X2 days) fit really well. Paper Denim & Cloth is decent too.

Reed is right. I still have 3 pair of the old Express jeans that I wear regularly. The X2 are also really comfortable.

My Nudies, without question.

Diesel jeans fit me best. I'm thin and they are comfortable...plus they last forever.

Hugo Boss jeans. The fit is BY FAR the best I've found (~$250 CDN).

I have a high inseam so low boot cut levis work the best for me...

high inseam = little butt

7 for All Mankind .......best fit ever

Dear J above,
You are a huge badass. By not spending money on your jeans, you have shown us all what a huge man you are. I hope someday, i'm as hardcore as you.

Arnold, slim jim are not bad, I like the fit of mine when sized down one, however mine is the "Dry Indigo" which is broken twill soft denim. For raw jeans I would expect something heavier, maybe a 13 oz right-hand twill.

My favorite pair is a pair of 45rpm Soraihikos. I'm also liking the 19cm black overdyeds by Dior Homme as well.

I took up raw denim 5 years ago and never looked back.

Nudie Nudies Nudies - love them when they are new and unwashed for 6 months plus - then love them over again when they are washed - 2 for the price of one - now have 3 pairs.

have to echo some of the others here, lucky's hendrix jeans are incredibly comfortable and look cool enough. only downside is the price tag.

varvatos (both the boot cut and the straight legs -- although i prefer the straight legs right now).

I own probably about 15 pairs of jeans, most of them are Express, and a few are American Eagle. The Express jeans are the most comfortable I own, but I've got a pair of "destroyed" jeans from AE that I love wearing.

I've looked at the Mossimo jeans at Target, and I like the style, just haven't actually picked up a pair yet. I think anything over $100 is ridiculous for jeans.

APC New Standard. Hands down best jeans I've ever owned. A bit pricy at $150, but I wear them everyday no matter what, and they're the only pants I own, so I don't mind paying that kind of cash. They break in over time, and just keep looking and feeling better. I wash them in the shower about once a year.

Damn, for a second there I thought I was going to be the only one still wearing classic buttonfly 501s.

Guess I'm not into looking like a trend-follower.

Carhartt Relaxed Fit-Straight leg

Say that spending too much money on jeans is dumb is really condescending and a bit ignorant. Some people collect jeans, I don't buy car stereo stuff, or sports memorabilia.

Also saying that being into fashion or "cuts" of jeans is not a 'feminine' trait. I am a general contractor, I have a wife, I have facial hair; does this mean I am not allowed to enjoy denim history or the construction of denim?

The only piece of negativity I have to offer is that jeans are timeless; thus being said the best cuts are probably the simplest. "Fashion jeans" as I like to cal them are not the best for a "collection" although they may look good for a time.

As far as quality goes; quality denim can be found anywhere from JC Penny (they have had some selvedge denim) to Gap, to hugo boss, to Dolce and Gabbana. Price does not = quality. My all time faves are anything Lee or Levis, wranglers are killer if you like broken twill.

Volcom

Express used to make stretch jeans for men, briefly. Nice boot-cut, and, because of the stretchiness, they can both look good and not impede your movement (I've ripped 2 pairs of Gap jeans while attempting to get on a horse, get over a fence, etc)

Like lots of people here: Diesel Zathans. Their fit is amazing on me, a 6-foot tall, lanky, slender guy with no ass. Perfect, perfect fit.

GAP bootfits in sandblasted gray.
i've got a pair about a year old and a pair about a month old.
it's a shame they changed the back label from a rich embossed brown leather panel to a cheap black microfiber one and added all sorts of extraneous straps and interior badges. buy a pair and cut them all out.

Levi's Vault Piece 501. Best. Jeans. Ever.

You can't go wrong with a pair of True Religion Joeys. I swear by them as far as boot cut jeans go

Got a couple pairs of sevens, they're my favorite. Citizen of humanity are nice, as well as Rock and Republic. Got a couple pairs of GAP jeans too which are nice, and the good old standby - levis.

Rock & Republic, no question.

I'm an investor in 7 for All Mankind and, even though I'm a little overwhelmed by this type of validation, I have to agree with the guy who said "you have a sack." I like nice clothes too, but this is a little much.

I'm actually thinking that investing in mens handbags, pumps, and cosmetics might actually be a good idea. That scares me.

diesel rumbum for life

G Star - make a man's proportion's look like a man, not a sack of potatoes. Hip and cool anywhere in the world.

Easy: Luckys slim fit

Acne, ridiculously expensive but worth it for good denim and skinny cut.

Tsubi, same reason as above.

Dior, Prada if you want ridiculously, ridiculously expensive but great cuts.

Nudie, great middle ground.

Definitely Diesel's are my fav. 7FAMK are always a staple in the closet. Paper's are just comfortable for chilling... etc. etc.

And I have to agree with a few of the fellas above:
You have do have a sack; even if you don't want children later on, you shouldn't damage your boys like that. Girl's jeans are a fad and not well sculpted to your physique.

And collecting and buying jeans is not in anyway a "girlish" thing or un"manly". I don't tinker with cars or trick them out; I don't care to pour money into sports or hunting. I like to dress well and that is my hobby. And a pretty rewarding one at that.

And I am a married, mid-20's, hard working, very tasteful guy who's parents never bought me a pair of Designer jeans (and prob never would) and I use my hard earned money to support my tastes. Don't chastise we MEN for commenting on the frou frou things we enjoy.

And yes, I could tell you what I used in my hair this past summer for my FH. ;-)

Keep posting guys; it's fun to hear everyone's tastes!

The Bestest jeans ever are my 686 Denim. I have to say the fit and wear well. I have several pair now, but the Saints are my favorite. Find em here on the 686 web site.

quiksilvers' homie

mine would be the good old levi's 502

I own different colors of the Earnest Sewn HUTCH... They fit beautifully, look great, are inconspicuously high-end, and, well, Tom Cruise wears them. (The only down side is that you have to get them hemmed. Or at least I, 30" inseam, have to get them hemmed.)

My favorite pair of jeans would be my standard straight leg low rise Sevens. They are the most comfortable jeans ive ever had and they have lasted forever. Ive washed them like 3 million times and they still look good. its one of the best $143 ive ever spent.

Lucky jeans are my all-time favorite. I'm partial to the Hendrix-cut style. (slim fit, low-rise, boot cut). Lucky itself is just an all-around awesome company.

My Jean Paul Da'mage Low Rise Rekko Jeans are the best jeans I have ever worn. I wear them every single day and they fit me perfectly. I used to hate jean and only wear kahki pants because I couldnt find a pair that looked good. These are great.. and not too expensive.

I wear my Lucky Brands, every day.

I wear my Lucky Brands, every day.

Abercrombie & Lucky are my favorite. Abercrombie for the low-cuts and the high-style, Lucky for the day-to-day comfortable & cool look

Recently bought Earnest Sewn Jeans (Filson) and loved them! The fit is brilliant. I scoured eBay and happily found another pair. Done looking for jeans - for now.

Boycott Levi's since they don't make them in the US anymore. Wrangler 5 star is the best bang for the buck and fit me the best. I mean, they're only jeans, I'd rather spend the extra $$$ on a new pair of kicks

For real rare jeans and designs. Brands like Sugar Cane, Iron Heart, Samurai Jeans, and Nudie Jeans are the way to go. But be warned they also come with a high price, but rest assure the quality of the material and the design are ubertastic.

If you are in SF check out: http://www.selfedge.com/

Ill see if i can post up some LA and NY boutiques that carry these brands...or just put in a search.

Levi's 501 shrink to fit. Always in style, nothing else will do.

I second the Tsubi jeans. Too bad you'll probably only find them Australia though.

i'm a new convert to target's mossimo premium hudson bootcut. they fit as well, and look just as good as my ridiculously expensive pair from zara. real nice distressed looked and whiskering.

Have any of you tried Alexander McQueen? They are the best fitting jeans I have ever had. All the women tell me how great I look in them!

I like J. Crew Straight-legs. I have a pair of the antique indigo ones that I wear at least 3 days a week. I like their summer weight ones too, for when it's hot, but they're not as durable.

i've got to hand it to NORDSTROM RACK.
i've been able to get some somedude'sname BUFFALOs for like $35, diesels there for $70, mavis for $40, and my favorite pair being some earnest sewns for $95.
other than those, a great fit is the skinner levis premium. plain and simple, not baggy.

I Have had a pair of Sevens for close to 3 years. They have worn in well and have to be the most comfortable things I own. I'm on the short side (5'5") and had to have them hemmed, but work well. Any suggestions on specific designers who catter to shorter individuals?

Lucky Brand Jeans. They are so incredible comfortable and have a nice cut. (100$)

GAP 1969 straight-fit jeans. love the fit, and love the price when i find them on sale for $30!

My favorite pair of jeans is my Levis premium skinner jeans. The feel the texture, is great. Very affordable comparing to the capital E brands.

Ernest Sewn This Year.
True Religion Last Year.

Barney's Co Op has the best jean selection here in NYC.

APC New Standards!!!!

Levi's 501. A classic that should never go out of style.

Akademics always make a hot pair of jeans.

Sadly, Express' jeans don't fit me particularly well, which is a shame because I work there. Currently, I'd have to say that the best jeans I've got are Ralph Lauren's Mercer fit. Low-rise, slim leg, perfect leg opening for a pair of oxfords. Lucky's Slim Bootlegs are also good, as are Banana Republic's Bootcut. And you certainly can't go wrong with a pair of Levi's 527 either.

Well, they might not be high class or anything, but I got these vintage bootcut jeans from Aeropostale, and they fit perfectly.
I used to get American Eagle, but they fit really oddly in weird places...

You pretentious fucks, spending more that 50 bucks on a pair of jeans is just...stupid.

Old Navy Loose Fits or Wrangler Loose Fits work well for me.

nobody cares about raw and selvedge anymore. i'll stick with my lvc's

Levi's 550 for now.

All the kids wear flared jeans that drag on the ground.
I want to catch up with them.

levis 514 slim straight stretch

The best, the original Levi's 501 shrink-to-fit.
The Coca-Cola of the jean world.

By far Seal Kay, any pair.

I'd go with the non-destroyed Abercrombie & Fitch jeans. I own 3 Baxters and 4 Kilburns; I'm also planning on getting a pair of Remsens because I think they would look great with my Converse All-Star.

The low rise Ezra Fitch boot fit jeans are really cool as well, but they seem to shrink a lot...

My boyfriend has no butt! Where can I find a good pair of jeans for him that don't keep sagging? Please help!!!!

TAKUMI HANDCARFTED RAW JAPANESE SELVAGE DENIM. The jeans are awesome. They are made with shuttle loom denim and are sewn in Japan. Great fit and look beautiful.
