Delicious Library

Though we are a buyer’s guide, we don’t plan on doing a whole lot of software — but when it’s this cool, we’ve gotta tell you about it. Delicious Library from Delicious Monster ($40, Mac OS X only) is a virtual library for your physical media, allowing you to keep track of all your books, CDs, DVDs, and Video Games right on your computer. It features integration with Apple’s iSight FireWire camera, allowing you to scan the barcode right off the back of your titles so you don’t have to put them in by hand, and can “check out” titles to friends in the same way — a very nice feature when you are trying to keep track of your complete Stanley Kubrick collection.
