As the name would suggest, the new HP Mini-Note PC ($500 and up; late April) is a sub-notebook designed for maximum portability. It weighs just 2.5 pounds, and packs a 8.9-inch WXGA display, up to 2GB of RAM, up to a 160GB hard drive, a built-in VGA webcam, built-in Wi-Fi and optional Bluetooth 2.0, and comes with SUSE Linux or Windows Vista pre-installed. At less than the weight of a traditional schoolbook and at a size of 10" x 6.5", it's ready to go wherever you do.
