You've got an iPod. Now get it the speaker system it deserves. We've been testing out the Audioengine 5 speakers ($350) for most of March, and we continue to be super impressed by them every single time we crank up a playlist on our iPod. The Audioengine 5 speakers feature a top-mounted USB port (for charging only) and an audio input jack for an iPod. There's no dock, but our Apple iPod Universal Dock ($34) works and looks great with them. The Audioengine speakers have 5-inch Kevlar woofers, 20mm silk dome tweeters, and an internal power supply. They're also shielded for use next to a TV or computer display. Our favorite feature, however, is an integrated AC power jack and a second audio input port on the rear panel that provides the ability to stream music directly to the speakers using Apple's Airport Express ($125). If you're looking for the best sound possible for your iPod, we can't recommend the Audioengine 5 speakers enough.
