It's 2006. The future. There's no reason you should still have cords all over your desk. We've been testing out Logitech's Cordless Desktop S530 (Mac) ($70) for a couple weeks now and found that it's a terrific keyboard and mouse set to begin our cord-cutting. The S530's ultra-flat keyboard has a great feel, a built-in palm rest, and handy one-touch controls for iTunes and iPhoto, as well as dedicated keys to launch Safari, Mail, Spotlight or any other app. The high-performance laser mouse has a smooth tilt/scroll wheel, left and right click and five re-programmable buttons, and is, like, a thousand times more comfortable than the optical Microsoft mouse this editor is currently using. Batteries are said to last up to 6 months. Plus, the S530's Apple-esque white and silver matches every Mac except for the DarthBook. As a sidenote, we hear that even if you've got a boring beige PC the S530 set will work as long as you've got a USB port.
