The T-Mobile G1 ($180; Oct. 22), a re-branded HTC Dream, is the first phone to run Google's new Android mobile operation system. The phone sports a 3-inch touchscreen, a slide-out QWERTY keypad, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, and a 3-megapixel camera. But the biggest feature is access to the Android Market, which will let you download applications from the phone, similar to Apple's App Store for the iPhone. And definitely the hardest hitting Android app is the official Amazon MP3 Store app, which will let G1 owners download any of 6 million DRM-free songs directly to their phone.
