The Stage Names by Okkervil River

For those of you that heard Okkervil River's last effort, the excellent Black Sheep Boy, it should come as no surprise that the follow-up is equally as good. The Stage Names ($10) is a fantastically-paced album that merges multiple musical influences with heartfelt lyrics and excellent musicianship. Standout tracks: "Our Life is Not a Movie or Maybe," "Unless it's Kicks," "A Girl in Port."
