If you happen to be a fan of the Counting Crows, you'll dig this disc from lead singer Adam Duritz's old band. She Likes The Weather by The Himalayans ($10) offers listeners a look at the evolution of Duritz's songwriting, with many of the tracks sounding quite a bit like Crows material — albeit garage-quality — particularly the original version of "Round Here," which was later covered by the Crows on August and Everything After. Standout tracks: "Wishing Well," "Way Home."
