How can you not like an album that's named after a medical condition in which a person gives themselves nerve damage after passing out drunk or high with their arm draped over the back of a chair? While it's more Team Sleep than White Pony, Saturday Night Wrist ($13) definitively shows why the Deftones are the smartest hard rockers around. Their fifth studio album is a perfect concoction of trancey electro, grumbling guitars, and ghostly vocals. Standout tracks: "Hole in the Earth" and "Combat."
