Nevermind the fact that it's the last DMB album featuring founding member LeRoi Moore, who died last August and whose nickname is featured in the title. Instead, focus on the fact that it's one of the band's best efforts yet. Produced by Green Day producer Rob Cavallo, Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King by Dave Matthews Band ($16) is a heavier album than most Dave fare, both musically and thematically. Matthews' lyrics keep recalling the loss of his close friend, while the terrific musicianship provides a lush tapestry on which Dave can weave his tales.
