A Beautiful Lie by 30 Seconds To Mars

The band may be fronted by actor Jared Leto (Fight Club, Requiem For A Dream), but he makes you forget that fact five seconds into his first verse. Leto is 1000 times more authentic than any past actor-turned-rocker (think Russell Crowe or Keanu Reeves) and delivers an excellent sophomore album with A Beautiful Lie ($12), which is less concept and more classic than their first. Standout tracks: "Attack," "The Kill."
