Super Mario Galaxy

It's been more than five years since the last "true" console Super Mario installment, and we are more than ready for some good old fashioned goomba stomping. Super Mario Galaxy ($50; Nov. 12) is the first Super Mario title since Super Mario Sunshine, and the first to take advantage of the unique Wii controls. The setting this time is space — if you couldn't tell from the title — and Mario will have the ability to defy gravity as he visits different planets. Welcome back Koopa.
