Pry yourself away from Halo 3 for a second to experience a different kind of game in Skate ($60). This game-changing skateboarding title uses a natural, fluid control system — called Flickit — instead of the inane button-mashing of the countless Tony Hawk titles, and challenges you to think more like a skater to set-up, visualize, and perform your tricks. After countless rounds of Team Slayer, that sounds like a nice change of pace.
