At the corner of Sullivan and Prince in SoHo sits The Cub Room, a subtly elegant restaurant noted for its romantic vibe. The eats skate between traditional and American Nouveau with all of its most promising dishes containing some sort of meat. Among them, the $32 Cub steak and the $27 Fennel Dusted Akami Tuna are particularly fine. That said, The Cub Room ain't cheap and it isn't for people who use the word "ain't" on any regular basis. Those people will have better luck at the adjacent Cub Cafe where entrees don't exceed $20 and the napkins aren't made out of money.
