Tempted by the MINI's go-cart handling, but not a fan of its boxy exterior? The MINI Coupé Concept ($TBA) is for you. Ready to accept any of MINI's powerhouse engines, including the 1.6L twin-scroll turbocharged unit from the MINI John Cooper Works, this stylish two-seater pairs a decidedly MINI-like bottom with an aggressively designed upper half, including a swept back windshield, short contrast roof, hidden B-pillars, and more sexy than every other modern MINI combined.

The Rolls-Royce 200EX ($TBA) is a more modern and more approachable take on the stuffy Rolls-Royce design. Styling is clearly all Rolls, but the smaller wheelbase and overall size means you'll look less like the king of a South African country and more like the king of your block. It's powered by a V12 and has, as expected, a luxurious interior with natural grain Crème Light leather, wood veneer, Cornsilk carpets, and a cashmere blend headliner. While Rolls is still calling this a concept, word on the street is that there will be little changes made before an official 2010 production model, tentatively called the RR4.

While it might be just a concept for now, we're already itching to add the Volkswagen Concept BlueSport ($TBA) to our stable. Powered by a 2.0-liter turbodiesel that pumps out 180hp, good for a 0-60 time of 6.2 seconds and a top speed of 140, while managing 35 mpg in normal mode and more than 62 mpg in Eco mode. With a mid-engine layout that provides great weight distribution and a convertible body just 13 feet in length, it's a sporty, eco-friendly blast.

Named after the sword a matador uses in a bull fight, the Lamborghini Estoque ($TBA) lives up to its moniker with a long body and sharp styling. Still in the concept stage, this four-door beast boasts 22-inch front wheels and 23-inch rear wheels, full-time all-wheel drive, flat LED rear signal light clusters, a mid-engine design, and looks that could stop a full-grown bull dead in its tracks.

Four doors, four seats, and four wheel drive. Measuring six inches wider and taller than the Clubman, the new MINI Crossover Concept ($TBD) is the largest MINI to date, also offering a higher ride height and more interior space — all without losing the MINI's iconic styling. Since it's only in concept stage right now, there are no official engine details, but rest assured this will be one of the most fuel-friendly "SUV" you'll find. [via]

More than 30 years since Roger Moore's 007 put the idea into every guy's head, someone has finally replicated the underwater auto experience. Swiss design company Rinspeed has created the sQuba ($1.4 million), the world's first submersible car. Based on the Lotus Elise (it was a Lotus Esprit in The Spy Who Loved Me), the all-electric convertible can drive you to the lake in style and then dive underwater to a depth of over 30 feet. The car's engine was removed and replaced by three motors — one for land driving, good for up to 75 mph, and two others for the underwater propellers. Power is supplied by rechargeable Lithium-Ion batteries. You can check the sQuba out in person at the Geneva Motor Show next month, but, unfortunately, there are no current plans to build others besides this prototype.

According to insiders, you're looking at the basis for the upcoming H4 — but whether they call it HX, H4, or H-ellion, it's pretty hard-ass. The Hummer HX Concept ($TBA) is all-Hummer, with full-time 4WD, 35-inch tires, an advanced front suspension with an electronic-disconnecting stabilizer bar, and an E85 FlexFuel 3.6L SIDI V-6. However, it also borrows some ideas long assocoiated with rival Jeep, including a removable roof panels, doors, and fender flares, and a modular rear roof assembly that can also be completely removed, turning the HX into a true convertible. Add to that its rugged, Halo-esque exterior styling, and you've got a great two-door off-roader that we can't wait to get our hands on. [More Photos]

Set to debut at the Detroit Auto Show next month, the Land Rover LRX Concept is a mix of one part hybrid-coupe and one part Battlestar-SUV. The compact, 3-door LRX sports an ultra modern design — a reimagining of Land Rover's traditional clamshell bonnet, floating roof and wheel-at-each-corner stance — along with futuristic sustainability-focused technologies that make it easier on the environment. The LRX offers iPhone integration, full-time four-wheel drive and Hill Descent Control, as well as a special version of Land Rover's Terrain Response system, which gains a new "Eco" mode for lower emissions during city driving. Licensed by the Frank Lloyd Wright Collection, these terrific sets — of the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum and Fallingwater — were developed in collaboration with leading architects to be as accurate as possible, and come with booklets that not only tell you how to build you own model masterpiece, but exclusive archival historical material and photographs of each building, as well. SaveFlapjack lovers, rejoice. Now you can make fresh, 97% fat-free pancakes in as little as 30 seconds using the ChefStack Automatic Pancake Machine ($3,500). This microwave-sized wonder uses no-mess batter pouches to crank out stack after stack of four- inch diameter pancakes, and doesn't even require supervision, letting you cook up breakfast for you and your crew while you get your other morning activities out of the way — like taking a shower, brushing your teeth, or downing a half-dozen mimosas.

Made to both look and smell like frying bacon, this soap will get you clean while giving your appetite a jump-start on the day.
SaveOne of the worst things about adding ice to a whisky is its ability to water-down the flavor. So chill your next drink down with Whisky Stones ($20). Milled in Vermont by some of the oldest soapstone workshops in the US, these stones chill quickly in the freezer, and won't impart any flavor to your favorite blend.

Joe: Resolute ($14) is a new animated mini-series featuring classic Joes and Cobra operatives that's sure to make the live action movie look even more like a turd. Aimed at older viewers, and garnering standing ovations at JoeCon Comic-Con, Resolute consists of 11 episodes (ten 5-minute episodes and one 10-minute finale) totaling 60 minutes. We won't tell you the plot, but let's just say Cobra Commander goes totally apocalyptic on Moscow. In the first four minutes. Can someone please start a petition to turn this into a regular weekly series? Oh, and don't forget the toys.
SaveLeave it to the air maestros at Dyson to create a fan with no blades. The Dyson Air Multiplier ($300-$330) uses a fairly ingenious design to suck air into the base, accelerating it through an small aperture in the device's ring and then over a ramp to channel its direction. As it happens, this also causes the air behind and around the machine to be drawn into the airflow, creating a smooth stream of air amplified 15 times, without the unpleasant buffeting caused by the blades of a traditional fan chopping the air. The only downside? It's a $300 fan.
SaveWhat good is a portable hard drive if you're afraid to take it anywhere? With the Hitachi SimpleTough Hard Drive ($100-$135), you simply grab your data and go. And no, we don't know how you're supposed to say "Arc'teryx."

SaveWhat would you pay to be Don Draper or Roger Sterling? How about to look like them? The Brooks Brothers Mad Men Edition Suit ($1,000; October 19) pays homage to AMC's hit show with a medium gray sharkskin suit designed by Janie Bryant, the Emmy-nominated costume designer for the show, and is modeled after Draper's and Sterling's wardrobes. Features include a noticeably slim cut, diagonal pockets, narrower notch lapels, and side vents.
