This is the only gym bag that will actually fit in the locker. Stylish look? Not really. But has separate compartments for shoes, toiletries, wet stuff, clean stuff.

I really like my duluth pack safari duffel
Hey, I wouldn't use anything but this bag. Get it in black. It says manly all over. It's got awesome compartments and is great for carry-ons on planes. Good luck! http://www.sportsauthority.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2183386&CAWELAID=116623465 Under Armour gear bag
I like the classic Adidas gym bags. Check out the Adi Vintage Team Bag.
Can anyone recommend a gym bag that will contain the odors of my sweaty gear, post workout?

I've been using my Patagonia Critical Mass Bag for years. I take it to the gym every day with my clothes for work. Plenty of room for everything, and the ability to separate wet towels from dry clothes. Fun colors too and fits perfectly in gym lockers.

I use the Ogio All Terrain
It has a nice shoe pocket, and lots of nice big pockets for your toiletries and even a velvet-lined gadget pocket for your tech toys.
The nice thing about Ogio is all their bags have lots of great features, plenty of pockets are are built really durable. Nothing glued here. Check out their other duffels for larger or smaller sized bags.
I really like my Ogio Crunch, http://www.amazon.com/OGIO-711004-03-Crunch-Pack/dp/B000NRVBQM, Its not too big or too small, has a lot of pockets and holds a ton of stuff.
If you're going for something athletic/sporty looking, I like Underarmour Bags in black. They can take a beating and isn't at all pretentious.
The best thing I've found for sweaty, post-work out clothes is a Chico bag.
Adidas recently launched a line similar to Y-3 called SLVR. They've got some very clean, well designed pieces. I like this duffel personally ($90). The clothes are sharp too.
The best gym bag ever created will double as an overnighter. http://www.tumi.com/alpha/sport-duffel-109550/
Run out an get one. Don't walk!
adidas makes a nice, simple and pretty cheap duffel that fits perfectly in a gym locker. i like it because it's pretty low-key style-wise.

I personally use the Filson Sportsman for the gym and for a good carryone when I fly. It's super rugged and has a nice classic style to it.
