I have been using the ViewSlimmy from Koyono.com since March 2008 and have been very pleased.
I keep my ID, 4 credit cards, 2 insurance cards, and 5 - 8 bills in it all times. Occasionally, I throw in a receipt or two before dropping them i my briefcase or back in the envelope. It is a great slim front pocket wallet.
I love my angle wallet by Makr - they are produced in extremely small numbers right here in the U.S. You'll defintely be one of the few lucky guys to own one.

I recently went through this. I suggest a dopp regatta 88: http://www.amazon.com/Dopp-Regatta-Front-Getaway-Pocket/dp/B00007GDE2 or the banana republic monogram card holder: http://bananarepublic.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=44858&vid=1&pid=598400 The former is pure functionality, the latter has a bit of style and a quality feel. Both are very slim.
I use a card case, specifically the Water Buffalo Slip Passcase from Coach. One side has a clear spot for an ID, and there are slots on the other side for your two most common cards. There is additional space behind those for less commonly used cards.
You could probably slide a note in there for backup, but I carry my folding money in a separate clip.
When my family went to Sweden, they picked me up a great wallet made from Swedish Elk/Moose leather. It's very stylish, unique, and affordable (around $50.00). It also has a change pouch which comes in handy.
If you want cool and unique but well-built and quality, without a doubt, J-Fold Their stuff is really different, it features a variety of textures and colors, and I've been using my first wallet for about three or four years and it hasn't worn or faded at all. Definitely worth a look or three.
I've been a huge fan of my Nixon wallet. I have the Montreal, fits 3-4 credit cards, my ID and has a clip of a few bills. Super slim though which is fantastic.
If you want a cool, unique wallet, buy the Loaded Wallet It is an inexpensive ($20) basic wallet with room for essentials with a really awesome design that is sure to gain countless complements.
DB Clay makes some incredible wallets too, but they are hard to get.
I've been using the basic card case from Tanner Goods for close a year now. The leather is great and it's aged very nicely. Because of the flap + button closure, it's not prone to stretching like a traditional card case.
I second the Makr suggestion. Right now I have one of the angle wallets. It is very slim, while holding around 6 cards and cash. The only downside- you have to fold your money twice, which may just personally irritate me, and no space for change, but I hate change so that's okay. Fits in the front pocket without looking strange though.
I've found the 'Tumi Money Clip":http://www.tumi.com/fxt/money-clip-card-case-98381/ the perfect solution
I've had the JCrew magic wallet for going on 5 years now. It's leather, classy looking and girls always seem amazed by it. Holds four cards (I've stuffed an extra two in if I really needed to) and a good stack of bills or business cards. There's a wide selection of colors if you dont want just black or brown.
The wallet I have had for going on 4 years now is both unique, rugged and definitely not boring. The River Stingray Wallet gets more double-takes than any wallet I have ever had and it looks better every day of use. The cool factor is there and worth a look for anyone looking for a new wallet.
I use the Renna Dollar Wallet
I had Renna make me one custom in black alligator skin. It cost more, but it was worth it! It's super-classy, and I've been carrying it for four years now, with no obvious wear and tear.
Bonus points for being handmade in the US of A.
I have had the smart money clip for 5 years now the bestthing ... http://www.smartmoneyclip.com/
I've owned the Koyono Slimmy, a tumi slim wallet, an All-Ett super slim wallet, among many many others. The Koyono Slimmy is hands-down, my favorite way to hold my cards, cash, and plastic.
I have been rocking a wallet from Comme Des Garcons. It is an eye catcher and it holds 5 Cards, Cash and has a change pocket. Plus it has a zipper all the way around so it keeps your valuables in tight. It fits in everything except Bonobos. Get better Bonobos. http://www.tobi.com/product/8081-comme-des-garcons-classic-leather-coin-zip-wallet-handbags-small-leather-goods-small-leather-goods?color_id=9521#ref=plroll
mine is snakeskin
i enjoy my wallet from J Press... great clean and simple wallet.
Go to UnCommonGoods.com and check out their recycled tie wallets. Perfect for just cash and a few cards, stylish and unique. Comes in "red" and "blue" but you don't know what pattern you will get. I ordered 2, one for me and my brother, and we both got really nice, stylish designs. Not too expensive either ($28 if I remember correctly). Was actually posted on Uncrate a few months ago!!!
Check out the Duluth Trading Company's Armored Car Smallet. It holds my ID, 8 miscellaneous cards, cash and an extra house key I've had mine for 2 years now and it still looks new. Its probably the toughest and cheapest wallet ($12.50) I've ever had. Its made out of the same nylon they make their tool-bags out of, which is 5x more durable than leather. I really like the capacity and thickness of this wallet made from sail cloth and leather from All-Ett. It is thin but still holds a great deal of stuff. http://www.all-ett.com/products.asp#Executive. They are inexpensive at about $30. It is what I use everyday. They are perhaps not as stylish as you may wish, but they are great.
