Second the throw in dryer after they are done air drying for 10 minutes. On a cold winter day, it's even better. Also, if you are of the type to do it, throw in fabric softener in the washer. I'm not a fan, but my woman chastises me if I don't follow the routine for her jeans when I do wash.

And, since we are in winter and talking of jeans, if you have not tried them, get a pair or two of flannel lined jeans. They feel great and keep you very warm.

Definitely the dryer. Take a dryer sheet and spritz some water on it-then toss your jeans in for no more than 5-10 minutes. They'll soften right up, but won't fade .

Don't wash your jeans that often. If they smell a little try sticking them in the freezer. It gets rid of odors and doesn't shrink them.
