What are some good outdoor speakers for under $200?
Go to Outdoor Speaker Depot, where they carry the identical speakers to those sold to you for hundreds more and with a sticker.
I'm not one to beat the OEM drum often, but outdoor speakers are a great example of being able to get the same quality for much less money.
It's hard to recommend one set of speakers without knowing your setup or goal, but at a $200 budget, you could try a pair of the pretty nice A650 Advances for higher power loads or go for 2 pair of the AP640 High Performances for a more ambient sound setup.
All this and you'd still have enough to put in an outdoor volume control!

Richard is very correct about what he said above. Almost all in-wall/ceiling/outdoor speakers that are being sold by non-high end audio companies are made by one or two China factories. The companies simply have China change a few looks, slap a speaker company name on it, and tah-dah, a niles, a speakercraft, a Dual, a Best Buy Etc speaker is born. So save money, and skip the name on those.
However, companies like Rockustics , Stereostone and many others actually develop their outdoors, and will give you sound that is comparable to the best indoor system.
