I think the best thing to do is get a GOOD razor...perhaps that Bic one might do, but I like the New Gillete Fusion Gamer, and Edge gel.
The best advice is to do it like a man. Don't use a disposable single blade razor.....and just slather the shaving cream on in the shower and do it....don't go slow...just shave like you mean it.
I shave everything from mid-thighs up. When it comes to shaving your balls.....just grab them...stretch them out straight and shave...don't think about it or you'll hesitate and cut yourself.

If you get razor burn at first, just deal with it.. It'll suck for a week or two but it goes away after a while. It helps to use a cooling lotion as well, it'll open the pores and help prevent ingrown hairs. Do NOT use Vick's VapoRub. I thought it would be nice and cool, but it felt like my balls got frostbite and it wouldn't wash off.
First, i agree with Michael. don't do it.
If you have to remove hair, be a man and get it waxed.
I'm all for Carefully trimming though. Phillips makes a really nice body grooming kit. If you are hairy and are going to shave, I recommend that one (get the second model up. runs like 40-50 bucks at Target)to get the hairs fairly short before shaving.
It's rechargeable and can be used in the shower. Although, it doesn't work well to trim in the shower if you aren't shaving it all off. You want the hairs standing up tall if you are just trimming. The idea is to make it look like you didn't do anything at all....which is why I say Not to shave.
Tons of guys shave their bodies, just none really want to admit it. You can go the waxing route, but most guys don't want to do that and have probably seen 40-year Old Virgin way too many times. If you want to get rid of body hair, go with the Mangroomer Back Shaver for the back, chest and arms, and for the private areas get the Mangroomer Private Body Shaver These products work awesome and really will do the trick for you at home.
Remember that after you do this you're going to have a lot of skin-on-skin contact that you didn't have before (nutsack-on-thigh contact) which is going to be a little weird at first (and kinda sweaty). Do the whole shaving thing a few days before a night out on the town. At first you're going to want to reach down and mess with your sack a lot more than what seems normal because it's gonna feel all weird. Don't shave (or trim) an hour before a first date. Do a practice run earlier in the week.
Depends what you are trying to shave. If you are going for your chest/stomach/back I would suggest waxing. If you are just trying to stay tidy nothing beats a good beard trimmer. No chaffing or itching or ingrown hairs. I dont ever go bald anywhere but controlling the growth is key and a trimmer is amazing for that.
