Breathe Right strips will help you, but in addition to that, you need to create a problem for her. Just as you had no idea that you snore, she could have no idea that she 'tosses and turns' all night. Recommend that she look into some sort of help for that, and agree that you'll do the same for your snoring. Always stay ahead of the curve. I'm assuming this a new relationship, and as such, you need to maintain a tactical position on the battle front. Don't lose ground!
My roommate in college is a avid MONSTER snorer and I'm a very light sleeper. He's my boy so he tried everything. He got surgery to remove his tonsils to open up his airway along with breathing strips and other remedies. None of them worked..
What I found to work best was when I use to be woken up. I would move his head so that his chin is closest to his chest without touching. This seemed to work like a charm. Best of luck to your girlfriend too!
They make nice earplugs in pink for women.

Don't listen to the post above. Snoring and sleeping with your partner is not a tactical decision. If you need to "keep the ball in your court" or have the mentality that you will lose ground just because she wants to sleep better and in the same bed as you then your relationship is doomed. It sounds like the guy above, Shawn, is a bit of a control freak. I don't know of any woman that wants one of those in their life.
The strips work well but not for everyone. Lay on your side to avoid snoring as well and maybe sleep with a fan going in the room to create some "white noise" while you sleep so if you do end up snoring slightly, the fan can mask the sound. Beyond that its surgery.
I am sure your lady just wants a nice sleep and wants to sleep well with you. The post above will only set you back in your relationship.
Are you getting enough sleep at night? My girlfriend started sleeping over and I found that, because I was staying up later and waking up earlier with her, I started snoring.
Your snoring may simply be due to new sleeping patterns/positions. If you cuddle up next to her now while you sleep, maybe try sleeping on your side of the bed like you always would. No love lost in a good nights sleep.
All very good suggestions on how to curb your snoring problem. I was made aware of my snoring problem by my girlfriend and obviously realized I need to do something about it. Here's where it gets interesting. While I sleep I grind my teeth and with the prognosis from my orthodontist, I was given a mouth guard to prevent wearing of my teeth. Wearing this mouth guard every night prevented me from snoring. I know it may be unusual to suggest this method, but they have indicated this during the infommercial that promotes a mouth guard. It lifts the jaw into a position so that your airway is unobstructed. Breathe right strips won't be successful if you snore through your mouth. Hopefully that helps. Good luck.
Try this; http://tinyurl.com/2b6vtw It's a pillow from Brookstone. I used it and my snoring issues were literally gone. Takes some getting use to but after 6 months or so I switched back to a regular pillow and still no snoring. It basically trained me to sleep in this position. It's essentially forcing your head to do what Peter Park mentions above.
My wife is a huge fan.
Also, avoid nasal decongestants before going to bed especially after a night of drinking beer. They will dry the nasal passages which actually irritates them slightly and thus will case you to snore more then usual.
I had laser surgery and it was the best thing I ever did! There is a Doctor in Philly that's incredible! I'm NOT affiliated with him in any way except he did wonders for me and some of the best pro athletes in Philly.

My wife said I had a terrible snoring problem. I lost 25 lbs. and it went away entirely.
A simple solution you can try (albeit awkward) is taping a tennis ball to your back.
Most of the time you snore is when you sleep on your back and the little flap thing (technical, I know) in your throat vibrates when you inhale. Taping the tennis ball on your back provides you just enough discomfort to roll yourself over to a position other than your back without completely interrupting your sleep cycle.

Don't sleep on your back, try on your side or on your stomach. Makes a huge difference.
