You need a product that's an anti-humnectant -- nutshell that means it won't make your 4 head sweat. Grooming Lounge styling products wont make you sweat and neither will American Crew.
Living in Miami I can sympathize with you. I use Aveda's Grooming Clay to keep my hair from doing its own weird thing. It helps keep the shape while providing movement and minimizing that special product "shine" that some products can produce.
