Now, from your question it could be taken two ways. The first way being that you don't want to do anything and build muscle, but I'm going to assume that is not the case as you can't do this in anyway. The second way is that you don't want to be lifting weights everyday, you'd rather other strenuous activities. In that case to build muscle without lifting weights look at activities/exercise routines that aren't based around a gym. A good leg workout would be roller blading / ice skating / biking / running / a combination. A good total body workout could be considered swimming. Also search for exercises that are "bodyweight" exercises, these could be pullups, curlups, pushups, squats, lunges, jumps, etc. However without continually challenging yourself (by adding more weight) its going to become more and more time dependent as you'll have to do more and more and more sets.

While I agree with the above answer, I would like to add that a great way to increase general stregnth, conditioning, etc. is martial arts.
Have you considered taking classes in either Kung Fu, Karate or some other form of Martial Arts?
Rock climbing (if you live somewhere that this is possible and have buddies to go with) is a great workout with no weight-lifting.
i agree with the first answer but that may not show any results. i recommend starting the 90 day workout plan called the p90x. it truly shows results and you dont have to use weights in all dvds you mostly use your own body weight.
